Join Broadway Rose for our beginner musical theatre jazz series! This beginner-friendly class gives you a chance to get moving and have fun while learning some of the foundations of dance. Practice makes progress so we recommend registering for the full series, but feel free to drop in for classes as your schedule allows. Each week features new choreography.

This musical theatre jazz series is geared towards students with an intermediate or advanced level of dance experience. If you regularly perform in musicals or have years of studio training under your belt and are looking for an opportunity to dance to your musical theatre favorites, this class is for you! Each week will feature new choreography, so pick the schedule that works best: sign up for one class, all of them, or any combination in between!

Calling all tap beginners! Join Broadway Rose for this beginner adult tap class to learn the foundations of the style and dance along to some of your favorite musical theatre classics. Although geared towards beginners, this class will still provide a challenge for you to learn and grow as a dancer. Nothing says musical theatre like a big tap number. Prepare for the next time you’ll take the stage with this new series geared towards intermediate and advanced dancers. Students should already have experience with tap moves like the flap ball change, Maxie Ford, drawback, time steps, or similar. You pick your schedule: sign up for just one class, all of them, or any combination in between! Each week features new choreography.

Over the course of six weeks, students will work with their directors to devise a showcase featuring group numbers of various sizes, duets, and solos. Participants will strengthen their skills as storytellers, singers, and performers in a challenging and supportive environment. On the last day of class, students will perform for family and friends.

Trabajando con una directora este clase les da estudiantes de 13 a 18 años una oportunidad de practicar su actuación vocal y fortalecer sus habilidades de desempeño. Durante las seis semanas estudiantes ensayará y actuará un desempeño con números de grupos de varios tamaños, duetos, y solos. A la última día de este campamento, estudiantes actuarán para sus familias y amigos. Nota: instrucción será en ingles.

This camp is designed for students who are serious about pursuing musical theatre performance and are invested in developing their professional and artistic skills. Under the direction of professional actor and director Isaac Lamb, the Teen Summer Production begins with two days of singing and cold reading before students are assigned roles and launched into an intensive rehearsal process. They will spend just 13 days rehearsing and mounting a full musical production which opens to public audiences in the third week of the program. Please note that in order to participate, students must be present for all performances including the closing Saturday matinee and post-show strike.

In this exciting summer drama program campers experience all aspects of theatre, from improvisation and theatre games to technical and performance skills. These skills are showcased when the campers perform as the ensemble in a children’s theatre production of The Jungle Book, supporting a cast of professional actors. Campers must be able to attend all public performances.
