On May 1, Governor Kate Brown signed an executive order extending Oregon’s state of emergency to July 6 in response to the coronavirus outbreak. Although the stay-home order may be lifted sooner, it is clear that physical distancing and limiting the size of gatherings will remain in place through the summer.
With much examination and consideration of the safety of our community and artists, we have decided to cancel all performances through August 23. This includes performances of Crazy for You, The Wedding Singer, and all youth and teen productions. Patron affected by these cancellations are being contacted by our Patron Services staff with ticketing options.
Our administrative offices and walk-up box office window remain closed as the administrative staff continues to work remotely.
We are extremely grateful that so many of you who have made donations or chose to donate your canceled tickets back to Broadway Rose. These gestures of faith and commitment helped us meet some of our immediate operating needs (like payroll) and off-set production expenditures.
As we continue to navigate this crisis, we are grateful for the generous support of our patrons that have and will continue to be our lifeline. We are resolved to weathering the storm with creativity, passion, faith, and integrity. We look forward to reopening our doors as soon as it’s safe to do so. We wish you and your families health and comfort during this time, and our hearts are with all those affected by this global emergency.

I had tickets to a show that was canceled. What are my options?
You can donate the value of your tickets back to Broadway Rose (a tax-deductible gift that will help sustain us through these uncertain times), request a credit to be used for future purchases (including single tickets and season tickets), or contact the box office at 503.620.5262 to discuss options.
If I donate my tickets back, where does my donation go?
Your donation will help fund our immediate operating expenses, including payroll. Ticket sales are a major source of income for Broadway Rose and canceling productions a production is a significant loss in our budget. If you are in a position to do so, please consider supporting Broadway Rose in this way. Broadway Rose is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and your gift is tax-deductible.
