They say time flies when you’re having fun and this spring has been a blast! As we’re already knee-deep into prepping for our third show of the season, we are reminded of the dreams that have come true this year including sold-out shows, a glamorous gala with record-breaking donations, and successful youth programs.
This May, Broadway Rose is in full bloom, flourishing with heartfelt productions, outstanding casts, and an energized staff. We encourage you to dive into the spring newsletter to explore a behind-the-scenes look at the exciting things Broadway Rose is pursuing and the creative minds that have an instrumental hand in our productions.

ART AT YOUR FINGERTIPS: THE ART-O-MAT®
The Art-o-mat® in the Broadway Rose New Stage lobby
While cigarette machines may be a sign of the times, the relic machine of the past has a new purpose: art. Repurposed from an old cigarette machine, the Art-o-mat® was invented in 1997 by artist Clark Whittington. What was born out of an interactive piece for an art show eventually lent itself to over 200 active machines in the country, dispensing work from artists all over. And one of those active machines exists at Broadway Rose Theatre Company. So how did it get the Art-o-mat® into our lobby?
