Dining & More

With easy access to shopping, restaurants, entertainment, and outdoor spaces, Tigard offers many amenities for our patrons. Whether you want to plan a full day of pampering, or simply want to grab a quick bite before the show, here are some of our suggestions.

New in Town

Discover the city of Tigard with this full day of leisurely exploration. Start your morning at Symposium Coffee House before strolling through downtown and exploring its shops. Enjoy a picnic lunch at Fanno Creek Park.

For your dinner fare, visit Tigard Taphouse for paninis and pints, or head to Thai Delicious for some incredible Salmon Panang Curry or Orange Chicken. After your evening performance, head to McMenamins John Barleycorns for late-night snacking. Finally, tuck in at the Grand Hotel at Bridgeport and enjoy sweet musical dreams.

Tip: John Barleycorns is a performer favorite—you may spot a Broadway Rose artist off-stage!

Tigard Walks

Stretch your legs and explore some of the 18 miles of trails and nearly 550 acres of parks and open spaces of Tigard—which is working toward becoming the most walkable city in the Pacific Northwest! Park at the Broadway Rose New Stage and walk the Fanno Creek Trail from Grant Avenue to Downtown Tigard, then do some window shopping before getting back onto the trail and heading into Fanno Creek Park. Within a fifteen minute walk through the park, visit the Tigard Farmer’s Market (Sundays, April – October) and peruse the local waresHead back to the theater and let us entertain you with a Sunday matinee performance!

Tip: Find walk recommendations and maps at Tigard Walks.

Thrift City

You don’t have to break the bank to have a delightful day in Tigard. Start your afternoon with a late lunch (or early dessert!) at Davidson’s Casual Dining, just around the corner from the Broadway Rose New Stage (where you can park for free.) Afterward, do some window shopping downtown or explore the 30 acres of beautiful Fanno Creek Park. Walk back to the theater for your evening performance, and sip one of our Longbottom Coffee & Tea drinks before your show begins.

Tip: There’s no bad seat in the house—save more with a Friday night $30 upper section ticket.

Treat Yourself

Theatre is one of the best forms of escape—and perfectly compliments a day of pampering! Relax at ME Spa with one of their award-winning spa days. After you’ve had your fill of the many amenities of Bridgeport Village, allow yourself to be transported by one of our evening productions. Make it a stay-cation and spend the night in a local hotel.

Tip: Savor a glass of vino in the auditorium with a Broadway Rose lidded cup.

Family Fun

Tigard is an excellent destination for a summer day of family fun! After a performance at Broadway Rose, meet the cast outside the theater for pictures and autographs, then head to nearby Cook Park to get the wiggles out on the playground, or have an adventure in the butterfly garden. Once tummies begin to rumble, top off an already excellent day at Big Al’s for food and fun.

Tip: Check out our drama camps — your little ones could be on stage at our next children’s show!
