HOW DO I GET INVOLVED WITH BROADWAY ROSE?
Regards from Broadway Rose
Summer 2024
Do you have extra time on your hands and want to contribute to the arts in a meaningful way? Broadway Rose has numerous ways to get hands-on experience in the theater! Here are a few options:
#1: Volunteer!
Volunteering with Broadway Rose gives you a behind-the-scenes experience while playing a crucial role in strengthening the Broadway Rose community. Whatever your skills are, we need help in all areas, including:
- Performance Support
- Ushering
- Working concessions
- Selling raffle Tickets
- Handing out programs
- General Support
- Sewing
- Mailings
- Cleaning
- Special events
#2: Join the Guild
The Guild at Broadway Rose Theatre Company was founded in 2005. The group is committed to helping the theater thrive and the members are united by a common love of the theater and a commitment to its future in our community.
Meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month. Membership in the Guild promises something for everyone, with volunteer opportunities that include fundraising, marketing, hospitality, and numerous social activities. If you are interested in deepening your support of the theater, please consider joining this dynamic group and see how much fun you can have!
For more information please contact Alan Anderson, Marketing Director, at 503.906.2380 or email alan@broadwayrose.org.
#3: Take a Class
Broadway Rose Theatre Company contributes to the cultural growth and educational needs of the community by providing educational and creative musical theatre opportunities for kids, teens, and adults.
Throughout the year, we offer adult dance and tap programs, as well as camps for youth and teens. This is a great way to get involved with the theatre–and grow your confidence!
#4: See a Show
One of the best ways you can support your local theater is by seeing a show! We typically have six shows a season, with special events, cabarets, and youth shows throughout the year.
We offer ticket discounts for ages 6-35, as well as $5 tickets available for each Oregon Trail Card holder through the Arts for All program.
#5: Audition
Lastly, you can get directly involved with Broadway Rose by being in a show! If you are serious about pursuing musical theatre and putting your talent on stage, we welcome you to audition for our upcoming productions.
